  Please Read This Carefully - Important Park Information

Dear Outing Planner:

You have already taken the most important step in conducting a successful company/group outing.  You have expressed an interest in Keansburg Amusement Park/Runaway Rapids Waterpark.  The next step is to have the important information you will need to ensure a successful event.  The following information will assist you:

  1. In order for your group to receive group rates, you must have at least 25 active participants. Chaperones will be admitted for free in accordance with New Jersey safety standards.  A chaperone will be expected to supervise along with our staff to ensure the well being of your group.
     
  2. Group rates cannot be combined with any other discount offer.  Guest passes cannot be used in conjunction with a group discount.  All safety rules must be understood and will be strictly enforced.
     
  3. Advance reservations with a signed contract and deposit are required at least 10 days prior to outing date and is scheduled based on availability.  Make checks payable to Runaway Rapids Waterpark.
     
  4. Upon arrival at park, please send one representative to the front of the Waterpark for group check-in and to pay all charges. Bill must be paid in full day of outing before entering park.  To ensure faster entrance into park, please collect all money for park entrance from everyone in advance and pay the total amount.  We accept cash, bank or certified check and credit card only.  Sorry, no personal checks accepted.  Once the bill has been settled, no further discounts will be given.  ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED.
     
  5. In the event of inclement weather, we will make every attempt to contact your group prior to your arrival and reschedule the outing for your rain date.
     
  6. No glass bottles or alcoholic beverages are allowed in either park.  No outside food allowed in waterpark.
     
  7. Bathing suits are an absolute must for the waterpark.  No jeans or cutoffs are allowed.
     
  8. Many of our rides are high thrill in nature and if you have any of the following conditions, we recommend that you do not participate.

    *Height and safety restrictions apply to all guests.

    People that should not participate are:
     
    • Those who are pregnant
    • Those subject to motion sickness
    • Those with heart conditions
    • Those with health or physical problems
    • Those with back problems
    • Those under the influence of alcohol or drugs
    • Those with previous injuries
    • Those who are overweight for their body type

    In addition, each ride has a warning posted to help you determine a particular ride's suitability.
     

  9. We cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen items.
